Creative Arts Courses For Adults

Adult Learning Courses for Autumn 2010

Courses run for 10 weeks from week commencing 20th September with a half term break during week commencing 25th October

  • Salsa Dancing - Tuesday at Bordon Junior School 7 pm till 8.30pm    
  • Pottery & Ceramics - Tuesday 7pm to 9pm at Mill Chase Community College
  • Hip Hop for Fitness (NEW)- Wednesday at Bordon Junior School 7 pm till 8.30pm
  • Jewellery Making - Wednesday 7pm to 9pm at Phoenix Arts Centre
  • Yoga (NEW)- Wednesday 7pm till 8.30pm at Phoenix Arts Centre  
  • Community Choir Thursday 7pm till 9pm at St Mark's Shared Church
  • Simply Art (daytime) - Thursday 1 pm to 3 pm at the Forest Community Centre
  • Introduction to Art (evening) - Thursday 7pm to 9 pm at The Phoenix

50% dscounts are available for those on income support, on income based job seekers allowance, pensions credit, council Tax or housing benefit, working families tax credit or dpersons tax credit. (Income limit £16,040)

There is a 10% Early Booking Discount if enrolled and paid by Friday 10th September

There is 10% discount offered to members of the Barbados House Association and members of the Woolmer Forest U3A.

Only one discount is allowed for each booking.

Arts Workshop Programme for Adults with learning and physical disabilities 
 
Autumn 2010
 
 
The Phoenix offers a programme of arts workshops in the visual and performing arts for adults with disabilities. Sessions take place at The Phoenix and Community venues across the area.

Professional artists guide students through of a variety of art forms including Music, Dance, Drama, Art and Pottery for courses for all ages and abilities. 

Autumn courses on offer are:

Creative Movement - Tuesdays, 10.30am to 12 noon at Farnborough Community Centre
Dance - Tuesdays, 10 am to 12 noon at The Phoenix, Bordon
Art - Tuesdays, 1.30 to 3 pm at The Phoenix, Bordon
Music and Singing 1.30 p.m. to 3.00 p.m. at the West End Centre, Aldershot
Drumming - Wednesdays, 10 am to 12 noon at The Phoenix, Bordon
Drama- Wednesdays 10.30 a.m. till 12 noon at the West End Centre, Aldershot
Yoga (NEW)- Wednesdays 1.30 p.m. till 3.00 p.m at Aldershot Day Service
Pottery - Wednesdays, 1.30 to 3pm at the West End Centre, Aldershot
Dance - Thursdays 10.30 a.m. to 12 noon at the West End Centre, Aldershot
Drumming - Thursdays, 10.30 am to 12 noon at The Phoenix, Bordon
