Covid Safe Theatre

Phoenix Arts are committed to providing a safe and comfortable theatre experience for all our guests. Here we lay out the latest guidance.

Covid-19 guidelines for all users

The Government has lifted all remaining domestic restrictions.

You will not be legally required to self-isolate if you test positive for COVID-19. Stay at home if you can and avoid contact with other people.

Ticketing information

Tickets must be purchased in advance. Bookings can be made online and where this is not possible you can call the box office on 01420 472664, Monday to Friday between 9am & 5.30pm.

You will be emailed confirmation of your tickets, which can be shown on your smartphone or tablet when you arrive at the venue. Don’t worry if you are unable to do this but please bring some ID so that we can track your booking on arrival. You will be given your tickets when you check-in at the theatre the day/evening of the show.

Please check information about the event on our website and/or Facebook page before traveling, to confirm timings and/or any updates about the performance.

We collect contact information about each ticket booker in line with our privacy policy

Social distancing is no longer a requirement and so not enforced in the building.  The auditorium is at full capacity.

We will provide adequate ventilation where possible.

If we have to cancel a performance due to Government guidance, you will be contacted to be offered an alternative date, credit note or refund.

If you are unable to attend your event due to displaying symptoms and/or testing positive for Covid, you must inform the Box Office 24hrs before the event, to discuss your options. Email info@phoenixarts.co.uk or call 01420 472664 with your full contact details and the show you are due to attend.

Arrival & Your Visit

Our doors will open to customers 1 hour prior to the event. Please arrive in good time, to allow for a safe and steady flow of ticket holders and to sanitise hands.  Please check in with one of our volunteers at the Box Office, where you will be advised of your seat numbers. When inside the building, we expect all customers, volunteers, and staff to respect hygiene measures and to be mindful of other people.

The Government guidelines state “You are not legally required to self-isolate if you test positive for COVID-19. Stay at home if you can and avoid contact with other people.”

Refreshments

The bar will be open and we encourage payment by card, although we do accept cash.

The interval room will be available before, during and after the performance/show.

FAQS

Do I need to wear a face covering?

No, there is no legal requirement to wear a mask, but you may, of course, do so if you choose.

What additional safety measures are you taking?

We will follow government guidance at all times. Transactions will be cashless and paperless where possible, with multiple hand sanitiser stations and enhanced cleaning processes in place throughout the venue.

Are the toilets open?

Our toilets will be open as normal.

Can I pay with cash?

If possible we ask that all payments are made by card but we are able to accept cash.

Anything else?

At the end of your event, we ask you to help by either taking your rubbish home with you or putting it into our bins before you leave.

If you have any questions, feedback, or concerns, please email info@phoenixarts.co.uk
